Refund policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Most items can be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, as long as they are unused and in original condition. However, international orders and orders shipped outside of the continental United States are final sale and not eligible for return or refund.

Standard Return Policy (U.S. Orders)

You may cancel or return your order within 30 days of receiving it—no questions asked.

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused and undamaged
  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Original packaging is preferred

To start a return:

Email us at shop@himalayaninstitute.org. Once we receive your return, we’ll issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 days. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.


Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened or used personal care items
  • Items with expiration dates or hygiene concerns (once unsealed)
  • Perishable items

International Orders

Once you confirm an international order for shipment, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded. We will email you to confirm your shipment—if we don’t hear back within 72 business hours, your order will be cancelled and refunded automatically.

We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method. We cannot issue a refund for returns we do not receive.


Gifts

If you received an item as a gift, and it was marked as a gift at the time of purchase, we’ll issue a gift credit for the return value. Otherwise, the refund will go to the original purchaser.

  • “You”: The customer or user of our services
  • “Goods”: Items purchased via our website or app
  • “Service”: The Himalayan Institute website and/or app
  • “International Order”: Any order shipped outside the continental United States
  • “Confirmed and Shipped International Order”: An order you confirmed via email that has since shipped
