    Prajapati Sukta, composed of ten mantras from the Rig Veda, invokes Hiranyagarbha—the golden light of the inner sanctum and the presiding divinity of all who have ever lived. These mantras offer a window into the very genesis of creation, contemplating the inconceivable force that anchors the earth, fills the heavens, breathes life into all creatures as prana, and holds death itself to be a mere shadow.

    For thousands of years Prajapati Sukta has served as source wisdom for Vedic cosmology and mythology, and as a living tool for sages and tantric masters seeking to discover the essence of the creator within themselves and in the vastness of creation.

    This booklet contains the ten Prajapati Sukta mantras in Sanskrit (Devanagari and transliteration) and a detailed translation by Pandit Rajmani Tigunait.     About Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD

    Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD is a modern-day master and living link in the unbroken Himalayan Tradition. He is the successor of Sri Swami Rama of the Himalayas and the spiritual head of the Himalayan Institute. He is a world-renowned teacher and the author of numerous books, including Sri Sukta: The Tantra of Inner Prosperity and The Secret of the Yoga Sutra: Samadhi Pada. 

    Pandit Tigunait holds two doctorates: one in Sanskrit from the University of Allahabad in India, and another in Oriental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Family tradition gave him access to a vast range of spiritual wisdom preserved in both the written and oral traditions. Before meeting his master, Pandit Tigunait studied Sanskrit, the language of the ancient scriptures of India, as well as the languages of the Buddhist, Jaina, and Zoroastrian traditions. In 1976, Swami Rama ordained Pandit Tigunait into the 5,000-year-old lineage of the Himalayan Masters.

    Over the past 45 years, Pandit Tigunait has touched innumerable lives around the world as a teacher, humanitarian, and visionary spiritual leader offering practical guidance on applying yogic and tantric wisdom to modern life.
