    Vishoka Meditation

"Vishoka Meditation is the epitome of yogic experiences, for it empowers us to face and conquer a reality we have been attempting to ignore: pain, sorrow, and fear. Pain, sorrow, and fear are always accompanied by their cure. To find this cure, we need a firm conviction and a well-polished technique. Vishoka Meditation contains both. Step by step, it guides us to transcend pain and sorrow and live without fear. It connects us to our core being, from which the healing force flows in various grades and degrees."—Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, PhD, Vishoka Meditation: The Yoga of Inner Radiance

Imagine a life free from pain, sorrow, and negativity and infused with joy and tranquility. The ancient yogis called this state vishoka and insisted that we all can achieve it. The key is a precise set of meditative techniques designed to unite mind and breath and turn them inward, allowing us to heal and rejuvenate ourselves on every level of our being.

In Vishoka Meditation: The Yoga of Inner Radiance, Pandit Tigunait makes meditation as practiced by the ancient yoga masters accessible to a modern audience, offering step-by-step instructions to guide us to this illumined state of consciousness. Grounded in the authentic wisdom of a living tradition, the simple—yet profound—practice of Vishoka Meditation is the perfect complement to your existing yoga practice, as well as a powerful standalone meditation practice.

From the Foreword by Ishan Tigunait

Vishoka Meditation is a gift of experiential wisdom from an ancient tradition to the modern world. Receiving wisdom and techniques grounded in the direct experience of an accomplished practitioner helps bring the practice of meditation to life so we can experience the highest promise of meditation for ourselves. This is why receiving these teachings from a living tradition is a precious gift and why this book, with the practices it offers, is the opportunity of a lifetime for modern seekers.

    Vishoka Meditation Book

This book is enormously helpful in guiding the novice on Vishoka Meditation. The first few chapters are a little tedious but be patient as it gets easier as you go through the book.

    A rich and informative read

I am new to Vishoka Meditation and found the book to be very helpful. There are so many different forms of meditation so having the book as guidance as I begin my practice with Vishoka is making the process enjoyable. I recommend it.

    Vishoka Meditation

I have the video that goes along with it. So far is a review if classes I had with Rolf in Buffalo years ago. I'm appreciating that and I like doing it this way, because I can go at my own pace. I won't let myself continue to the next chapter until I complete the homework. While I have a morning practice, I keep forgetting to do my makarasana! Its probable at the top of the list of priorities for me so I'm going to do it! Writing this review is helpful to focusing on the goal.
