Swami Rama

Japji is a cardinal prayer in Sikhism that was originally scripted by Guru Nanak Dev, the first Satguru in the line of ten Sikh gurus. Primarily chanted at the beginning of the Granth Sahib, this prayer is commonly used during initiation and cremation ceremonies.

In order to make it accessible to a Western audience, Swami Rama translates this holy Sikh scripture into English verses, and includes detailed commentary on Sikhism and Japji. Purchase your copy of Japji: Meditation in Sikhism and discover the meaning and value behind this sacred prayer.
